How I'm Using The Internet To Fund My Christmas

**I have decided to keep a running list of things that I've won that I plan on using for Christmas presents, check it out here!

One of my biggest goals this year is to have our Christmas completely funded by online activities. Want to see how I plan on doing it? Check it out.

This Blog: This blog doesn't earn me much, but everything I do earn with it will be going straight to the Christmas fund. One of my most profitable features of this blog are sponsored posts through ShareASale. I often get offers of $5-10 to post short sponsored posts for different companies. It may not seem like much, but it adds up.

Twitter: I am a member of a program called Sponsored Tweets. I absolutely love love love this program. Companies pay you to tweet about them. I never get anything "spammy", they are all well recognized companies and I'm usually asked to promote a simple coupon or deal. Again, this may not seem like a huge profit, but it DOES add up- I get offers at least 5x a week from them.

Swagbucks: Earning gift cards for searching is about as easy as it gets. I LOVE Swagbucks, I often earn $15-20 a month in Amazon gift cards just for searching as I normally do. You can make it so that Swagbucks is your default search engine, that way you don't have to go to another site before searching. Easy as pie! Recently I found another awesome way to earn, Swagbucks TV. You can earn up to 150 Swagbucks a day just by watching short videos. I pull them up and let them play in the background while I'm writing or doing other things. At 150 Swagbucks a day, you can earn a $5 Amazon gift card every 3 days just for letting the videos play! If you do this everyday that's $50 in Amazon gift cards a month!

Blog Giveaways: Earning gifts through giveaways is nothing new for me, I've been entering blog giveaways for at least a few years now. And I've won some amazing stuff! I spend an hour or two every night while I'm catching up on my shows entering giveaways, I enter any giveaway with prizes that would make good gifts and also giveaways for gift cards. Last year about half of what I spent on Black Friday was paid for with gift cards that I had won! Where to find giveaways? Linkys are my favorite, which are huge lists of current giveaways. Simply do a quick search for "giveaway linky" and you're all set to start entering! And also don't forget to check out my giveaway page, lots of great giveaways there too!

    1. I noticed that a bit over the summer, but it seems like things are really picking up- possibly because the holidays are coming?

  3. Last year our Christmas was probably 80% funded by the Internet - this year I'm on track for another successful Internet funded Christmas as well. Good luck to you as well!

    1. Different merchants will send emails with offers for sponsored posts, a couple that I've done posts for in the past are Little Passports and Gymboree, so definitely join those two.

  10. Sounds like you are doing well earning your Christmas money. I like to do surveys - money and gift cards do eventually come. I tried swag bucks but didn't have much luck. I don't think I really understood how to use it to my best advantage.

  11. These are great ideas! I've heard of share a sale, but haven't tried it yet. I'll need to look into it. And I gave swag bucks a try a while ago, but maybe I should look into it again. I also try to use internet money to pay for Christmas. I did a post on that last year with some other ways to pay for christmas. If you want to see it, you can here! http://weliketolearnaswego.blogspot.com/2012/10/how-i-pay-for-christmas.html

    And I'm pinning this!
